Let us show you OUR little slice of Morocco - our home province of Azilal. Just a short drive from Marrakech.
We’ll begin in the small city of Azilal - the political centre of the province. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over a quiet valley, and enjoy the slower pace of this beautiful little town has to offer. If you’re looking for a true local experience, we may even show you where we grew up, and introduce you to some of our families!
Next we’ll head up into the high Atlas Mountains to Aït Bouguemez, affectionately known at the “Happy Valley”. Keep an eye out for troglodytes, where nomads still camp to this very day. We’ll take you to a hidden set of real 185 million year old dinosaur footprints, protected by nothing but a few farms and a weathered sign. The snow-peaked mountains and deep cliffs will take your breath away as we climb higher and higher, before finally resting in a peaceful gite in a valley for the night in Zaoiut Ahansal.
Our last stop will be in the village of Ouzoud, home to breathtaking waterfalls. Most tours from Marrakech arrive in the village around noon and leave by 3pm, but that’s when the real magic just begins. If you’re up for a hike, we’ll avoid the crowds by taking you to a set of virtually deserted waterfalls, and all the way to a secret cave that only locals know about. It took us years to find it! Once we head back the main falls will be virtually deserted and yours to enjoy in peace. We’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset from the highest vantage point in the town, before heading back to our peaceful riad right in the centre of town. In the morning, we will bring you back to Marrakech.

We will arrange all transportation beginning and ending in Marrakech. As the roads are quite rough, we will take an all terrain vehicle for this adventure.
