GUIDE & FOUNDER OF ADVENTURES MOROCCO

Issam began his career as a guide in Morocco after finishing college in Marrakech and returning to his hometown of Azilal for Mountain Guide training. After receiving his certification as a Natural Spaces Guide, he began working as a trip leader in 2006, taking groups on trekking adventures in the High Atlas Mountains. Since 2010, he has led hundreds of large and small groups of travelers on adventures throughout Morocco of all styles and levels of accommodation. In 2016, he was recognized as the World’s Best Leader at the worldwide annual convention of a major tour company, and was subsequently tapped by this company to train other guides.

Issam has also traveled extensively around the world, which impacts the experience he deliver to his travelers by giving him not only an intimate understanding of what Morocco has to offer, but what visitors are looking for.  Issam specializes in giving his travelers a taste of local life, stopping along the way to visit local weekly markets and cafés, taking visitors to eat in local homes and searching out his favorite street vendors and “hole in the wall” restaurants and bars in the big cities.

Issam is fluent in English, French, Spanish Arabic, Darija and Berber. He divides his time between living in Marrakech and the U.S. and is passionate about traveling, design and music.

Hi! I’m Nourredine, but I go by Nory. 

I was born and raised in the Atlas Mountains. My love for my country and people made me choose guiding tours as a career in 2005. 

Sharing is what makes us humans, and I want to share with you my culture and perspectives, help you meet people of my country, interact with them, and live real moments in the arms of this country with a deep old history.
