Markets and Beaches

Marrakech to essaouira

  • We’ll begin in Marrakech, showing you all of the local spots for shopping, eating, and people watching. If nightlife is your thing, we’ve got lots of spots to show you here in this glamorous metropolitan city.

  • Next, we’ll leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and head to Ait Ben Haddou - the ancient city that was the city of Yunkai in Game of Thrones.

  • Have you ever seen a real life oasis in the desert? It’s not a mirage! We’ll take you to the village of Nkob, and show you how the locals share water and grow plentiful crops and beautiful palm trees, seemingly out of nowhere. You’re in for a great stay at a dreamy local boutique hotel with a fantastic view of the town and oasis.

  • Saddle up, it’s camel time! Instead of heading to Merzouga - where most tour companies go - we’ll take you off the beaten path to Erg Chegaga to camp overnight in the Sahara. This hidden gem has only about 10 desert camps as far as the eye can see. You’ve never truly seen the stars until you’ve seen them on a clear desert night!

  • After trekking back on our camels, we’ll switch gears and head to Ouled Berhil. Never heard of it? We’re not surprised! It’s one of our favourite spots to bring our guests for that very reason. The town’s ancient kasbah has been converted into a charming riad unlike anything you’ll see anywhere else in Morocco.

  • Finally, we’ll end our journey by the sea in Essaouira. This coastal town was also a filming site for Game of Thrones, but it’s the distinct chill beach vibes that will stick with you for years to come. If you like seafood, we will visit the local fish mongers and try their special catch of the day - grilled while we watch the sunset by local chefs. The perfect place to end you trip, Essaouira is located a short 2 hour drive from Marrakech, and also has its own airport.
